According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of University of Kyrenia, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Süleyman Tolun, academic staff and students of Department of Pilotage of Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics of University of Kyrenia, alongside THY Northern Cyprus Regional Marketing Manager; M. Uğur Kelce visited the THY Flight Training Florya facilities in Istanbul.

Faculty Dean of Aeronautics and Astronautics of University of Kyrenia; Prof. Dr. Süleyman Tolun expressed that their visit to the flight training centre had enabled students to observe and gain further information on various flight simulators; fire drills; and life aid in water. Furthermore, he added that this was a highly significant opportunity and experience for the students with regards to developing and improving their knowledge in their fields of study.
