April 23 is one of the turning points in our history. Right of sovereignty that we won through a national independence war is the most important value of our national existence. Dedicating this day to our children and children of the world, who are our most precious values, reveals the importance of children for us.

Our childre who will shape up the future are cornerstones of our society. Our children, already forming the basis and future of this nation, are serving as a bridge to transfer the values of past to the future. The education we give and the values we transfer to our children will emerge as behaviours of individuals in future.

We must give utmost importance to education of our children, who are the assurance of our future, and provide opportunities to grow them up in the best possible way.

In this respect, we must study hard to actualize this and must also develop ourselves, without falling behind the innovations.

I do wish a happy and healthy life for all children, and sincerely celebrate the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
