The women’s Basketball Team of University of Kyrenia, which is one of the contender teams of Turkish Women’s Basketball Super League (TWBSL), defeated its rival Tosyalı Toyo Osmaniyespor 69-59 at the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Basketball Tournament.

The Women’s Basketball Team of University of Kyrenia experienced the joy of win at Adana Adnan Menderes Sports Hall where they took the court for their first match versus Tonyalı Toyo Osmaniyespor. The players of University of Kyrenia dominated the match throughout all periods and outscored its opponent by 10 points at the end of the game.

According to the press info released by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of the University of Kyrenia, their Women’s Basketball Team with its effective players had a grip on the game and showed much higher performance than the opponent team and completed the first period with a net score of 19-6. Without downing the tempo, University of Kyrenia completed the first half with a net score of 40-24. The third period was ended with a score of 55-41. At the end of the game University of Kyrenia pulled out a significant win versus its rival with a net score of 69-59 and left the court victoriously.
